| landmark event for the telecom industry in India. We dedicate this technology and service to India with great pride. |
| Every organization with a requirement for communicating with teams can benefit from Procall's offering. Mr K N Srinivasan, CFO, Procall, briefed the media on the potential of the service: "Presently Procall is the only company licensed to offer Motorola's IDEN technology in India. It is also the only company to have acquired the Digital Public Mobile Radio Trunking (PMRTS) license for most of the circles in India, including Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkotta, Maharashtra & Goa, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. We have also applied for licenses in seven more circles. Over the next two years Procall aims to have over 1.5 million subscribers spread across all industry segments and sectors. In monetary terms this means that Procall would have achieved a turnover of INR 6,100 Million in the next two years. This is a very modest figure and our studies based on the response so far show that it can be far higher. Given the budgeted revenue target of INR 6, 100 Million the company intends to attain operational break even (EBITDA) in the next two years. For the Phase 1 Rollout in the cities of |
| Bangalore, Delhi and Mumbai, Procall's capital outlay is to the tune of INR 6,000 Million". |
| Procall's service is presently available in Bangalore and will be followed by the launch of the service in Mumbai, Delhi and other circles very shortly. |

| Digital PTT service |
| PTT communication (also called "Dispatch") on radio frequency allows unlimited number of users in a "Closed User Group (CUG)" communicate with their team members for unlimited time at a fixed monthly charge. Users can talk with one or many or all members in the group instantly at the push of a button. |
| PTT started off as a widely used technology in construction and security services segment but is now a common feature in a wide array of verticals including healthcare, security, hospitality, fleet management, entertainment & event management, sales force management, supply chain management, cargo & couriers and other enterprises requiring teamwork. This technology helps users to connect instantly within their talk group and outside their talk group at the push of a button. |
| The digital PTT service provides a much more user-friendly communications tool than the earlier analog version. Users benefit from clearer digital sound, longer battery life, lighter weight handsets, and a wider selection of eye appealing handsets at lower prices. Existing two-way wireless communication in India is largely based on analog radio technology with bulky, expensive handsets that are heavy on power consumption. Service reach as well as features are limited thus limiting usage and minimizing the utilization of PTT. |
| Procall's Digital Service offering apart from providing the users all the benefits of traditional radio trunking, also facilitates services such as GPS and Java based Value Added Services and a host of business utility enhancements. |
| Motorola's iDEN Technology |
| Procall has partnered with Motorola for launching Digital Public Mobile Radio Trunking Services in India. Motorola pioneered the use of PTT two-way radio communications. Motorola's Integrated Digital Enhanced Network (iDEN) technology has been in use for the last 14 years across several networks in 37 countries with a growing global subscriber base of 29 million. |
| iDEN handsets began as large but durable handsets designed for business users in heavy-duty industries such as construction and transportation, who relied on the iDEN technology's signature two-way radio to get their business done, and who needed rugged handsets to withstand extreme environments. |
| Today, there has been a radical improvement in the form factor and features with the handsets decreasing in size. The latest handsets offer competitive features such as integrated MP3 audio players, 2 Megapixel cameras, Multimedia applications, Extendable memory, Caller ID, USB Port, etc. while still offering the two-way radio feature iDEN users have come to depend on, and the durability to withstand heavy use. With sleeker designs and stylish options, as well as business applications that make them more of a mobile office than simple radio, there is an iDEN handset for every kind of end user, from construction workers to outdoor sales to executive board rooms to consumers. |
